Game 4 Excitement

After last week's defeat by the Silver team 18-0, the Black team was ready to get at it again and try their best.
The players were geared up and ready to roll!
This little brother was pumped to see big boys
running by him in flashes of maroon and white.
He loves to watch hang out and watch his brothers play "baw!!"
Nathanael put on the meanest face he could muster before hitting the field.
I heard a mom say during the game, "I could tell at their last practice that things were really coming together."  And come together they did as our black team won with a score of 13-6.  YAAAAY!!

The director of the Sports Outreach Program, Coach "V" and the boys talked and joked about the game afterwards.   He's a great support to our boys and all the youth in our church and we are thankful for him and his leadership in our sports program!   He always calls children "young champions" and I believe in doing that he's encouraging them in a special and sincere way that makes a big difference.
Here's a one-minute video showing 4 times that Hunter carried the ball during the game.
All three boys were happy to celebrate the win with blow pops.
After game 4 the black team is 2 and 2!  Only four more games till the season is over
and we'll know who the champion will be!
