Grandpa Bob & The First Beach of the Season

Forgive me for my lack of posting lately, but we've had a pretty eventful few weeks.

Besides the fact that my back has been giving me some trouble, Grandpa Bob came to stay with us for TEN WHOLE DAYS! The boys had so much fun having him around and he helped us out big time with a drywall remodeling project we have going.

Grandpa helping Hunter make a birthday card for a friend of ours.
Grandpa and Hunter at Sanibel Island's Blind Pass Beach
Our stuff and the trusty wagon that hauled it for us.
The water was FREEZING
Nathanael and Hunter playing in the hole that we dug.
Every time the tide came in far enough to fill up the hole Nathanael got so excited and jumped right in from the side.
Fuss-housin' in the hole
Taken right after Nathanael sampled some sand.

Looking for shells with Grandpa.

It was a bit of a fight to get Nathanael to keep his hat on throughout the day.

A plane! A plane!

At the Mucky Duck on Captiva
Hunter and The Jackalope. He was fascinated with this creature and has still been talking about it. And pretending to hunt it in the front yard...of course.
Grandpa took us all out to lunch. Nathanael and Grandpa waiting patiently for a table.
I love this picture.
Grandpa took us out to the Royal Scoop for some ice cream afterward!
Deeeeelicious!
Thank you so much, Grandpa Bob!
From the bottom of our hearts,
We love you!
