April 2013

Everyone had a stomach virus in the month of April.  Hunter was the first to get it and Levi was second.  I keep several quilts on hand for when we have this situation in our home.  I throw a few layers of quilts and towels over the thrower-upper and hope for a quick and easy clean up should the situation arise.
 Asleep in his car seat.
ADORABLE

Hunter and Levi on one of their babysitting adventures on the bus loop.
Hunter is such a fantastic helper and such a good big brother!

Hunter's first grade concert.  Animals down on the farm!!

Daddy, Levi, and Nathanael thought it was a great show!!

Hunter was a cow and had a speaking part in the program!

Hunter, his best friend, and a photo bomber who edged himself into the picture at the last second.  Haha!

Grandma Nelson came for a visit and surprised the boys!  They had no idea she was coming!!  Hunter found her hiding when he got home from school on a Wednesday!
Nathanael had just woken up from a nap to find Grandma in the kitchen!! What a surprise!

She brought the boys remote control helicopters to play with!
We didn't get any pictures of that fun, though.  :(  I'll do better next time.

This is Levi taking a nap next to grandma at the pool.  Grandma bought the boys new water guns to play with at the pool.  AND she went off the high dive too!!  Total bummer that I didn't get a picture of that one!
It was a short but sweet visit and we were so sad to see Grandma and Grandpa leave.  :(

My friend Brooke and I went to go see Ina May Gaskin, a famous midwife, speak at an opening of her new documentary.
It was pretty cool!

Mr. Levi has decided that necklaces are THE thing to be wearing.  He went through a stage where all he wanted to do was put this belt around his neck and walk around the house all proud of himself.
Learning to loop it through the buckle.
We've noticed that he's got great fine motor skills compared to his brothers at this age.

Imagine our surprise when one morning a MONSTER TRUCK pulled right into our bus loop!!!  Nathanael nearly lost his mind.
The monster truck was at the school to promote a monster truck rally that weekend.
It was decorated with Sheriff Rambosk's (Daddy's boss) picture on it!
More necklace love from Levi
A boy and a stick!
Levi is 15-months-old and learning to climb up and down the stairs all by himself!
He's also learning to help mommy put clothes from the dryer into the laundry basket!
He's pretty much the cutest little laundry helper ever!
