Nathanael's 5th Birthday

Nathanael turned 5-years-old on March 24th and we had a fun day of celebrating at home and at Chuck. E. Cheese!!

The day began with homemade cinnamon rolls for the birthday boy!
Sleepy Nathanael enjoying his cinnamon roll, a glass of milk, and fruit salad.
One of the things I absolutely LOVE about Nathanael is that you get your money's worth of appreciation and excitement when you do something special for him.  I love the look on his face as he's opening his first present.  :)
It's a dump truck!!
He got 3 Playmobil police officer toys:  a helicopter (his fave), a squad car with real flashing lights, and a motorcycle that he graciously gave to Hunter.
We headed to Chuck. E. Cheese after Nathanael had some time to play with his new toys.   It was the first time I had ever been there as a mom and WOW!  What a busy, frantic, fun, crazy place!!

We were thankful to have Juliet, my little sister and Nathanael's aunt, join us along with her mom.  Juliet's mom has an awesome camera and took a bunch of great pictures for us.

Cute Mr. Levi sitting on the table and playing with Mommy's wallet.

Nathanael was thrilled that Mr. Chuck E. Cheese himself came by to wish him a happy birthday!

Nathanael loved riding this monster truck.
It's what he spent most of his time doing while we were there!  :)

After Chuck. E. Cheese we headed home for some birthday cake.
Nathanael wanted an army guy cake, so that's exactly what he got!

It was chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and it was very, very good!

 Happy 5th Birthday, Nathanael!
We love you and are so proud of the big boy you are becoming!
