We saw lots of animals out on the "Serengeti" while we rode the train that goes all throughout the park.
Hunter and Mommy got a chance to ride the sky tram again on the second day.
There was only one regular roller coaster than Nathanael was tall enough to ride and that was the Sorpion!
It had a really small footprint, but did a cool loop and had a couple drops and twists and turns.
Unlike his older brother, Nathanael did not hesitate for one second about riding this roller coaster. As we got closer to the front of the line and our turn was next, he was clapping his hands and had a huge smile on his face and looked as if the excitement and happiness would just burst out of him!
Nathanael cannot wait to grow a little more so that he can ride more roller coasters. But for now, he's happy that he got to ride this one!
We had heard from my friend Michele that the bird area was really cool. You can buy a little cup of liquid food for them and they eat right out of your hand. We got to this attraction later in the afternoon, so the birds were pretty full by then. When we go next time we're going to go right in the morning when the birds are ravenous and anxious to eat the food we get for them.
Levi thought the birds were SO neat!
Hunter and Nathanael managed to get one bird interested in eating from their cup.
Hunter has been photo-bombing all of our family pictures lately. Here we are waiting for a animal talent show to start but it ended up getting canceled do to a drizzly rain. Next time!We spent quite a bit of time in the Sesame Street play area. We were excited to catch the show they have there with the Sesame Street characters. This was later in the day and Levi was not really feelin' it, but we still had a good time.
Another cool area for kids where we hung out is the "Treetop Trails" playground. They have all sorts of rope climbing things and tunnels and a couple of rides. They had a cool hang glider ride that was suspended in the air on cables. Hunter was reluctantly talked into going on it. Nathanael didn't have to be talked into it, but you had to be six years old to ride. :( He was really bummed that he couldn't go.
Hunter was pretty nervous. I snapped these pictures of him while he was on the ride as I was riding next to him in my own hang glider.
Daddy and Levi hung out in a concessions area while the boys and mommy played in the treetop trails.
Soon we found the bumper cars!! Daddy and Nathanael rode in one car and Hunter rode in another.
Levi was getting pretty tuckered out by this time, so into the backpack carrier he went. He enjoyed watching his brothers and Daddy on the bumper cars.
After the bumper cars, Daddy, Hunter and Nathanael hit the water flume ride!
The boys were thrilled to get dessert with their dinner.
We spent the last couple moments of the park back in the Sesame Street play area. There was a set of big tunnels that Levi enjoyed walking through.
Levi fell asleep before we even got out of the parking lot.
The big boys were not far behind.
We were so thankful to have had this little vacation!
We had such great family time and can't wait to do it again before our passes run out in December.
